Elena knelt down, setting the roses next to the gravestone. She tranced her finger on the names ingraved in the stone. 'Shane and Isabella Gilbert.' a tear ran down Elena's pale white cheek, suddenly wishig he was here. He had always been abe to comfort her. She wiped her eyes and frowned. Why did he have to leave her. She knew he would be back, but without him, she felt empty. She stayed on the ground next to her parents' headstone, hand still resting on it.

Adian slunk around the outskirts, having picked up the scent of something female. Normally, he would simply walk on, ignoring it, but tonight, he felt adventurous. His nostrils flared and he got closer, and closer. It was a new smell, one he could not identify, human or not? Nostrils flared, Adian moved closer.
He saw the girl, bent over a grave, and heard her crying. Hundreds of questions ran through his head. Why was she there, who was she crying over?

Elena tensed, a scent filling her nose. At first, she thought it was him, but it wasn't as sweet. She bared her teeth and looked around, snarling. It took a while to relize it wasn't a human, which made Elena relax slightly. "Hi..." she growled, still defensive until she could trust him. For all she knew, he could feed on other Vampires, though t was rare. The memory of when she first became a Vampire came flooding back to her. Her, standing over her old lover's dead body, teeth bared. Steffan's neck ripped open, Elena bending down to feed...
She shook the memory away. It was so hard, why did she give up Steffan? Again, she shook her head and snarled again at the newcomer. "Who are you?" she asked, her velvity voice going husky as he spoke without trust.

Adian froze like a deer in head lights. The woman turned, and stood, in a very fluid and cat like way. Adian could almost feel the blood rush to his face, well, it would if he had a beating heart. Her barred teeth showed she was of his kind, and Adian felt himself relax, knowing he wouldn't have to hold himself rigid, to fight the urge to feed.
"Meh... Who am I? Mademoiselle, should it not be I asking such a thing, at a such a time at night?" Adian said in his most charming voice.

Elena growled, "I asked first." she growled through her teeth. She continued to be on defence, not caring weither he ws a Vampire or a Human. The pale skin got whitter, if that's possible, than usual because of her standing rigid, abs(sp?) tightening. Her pale blonde hair fell down over one shoulder as she stood in front of her parents' graves. "Tell me you name, and you will know mine. Simple." she hissed, midnight black eyes glaring. Her pale hands clenched into fists, every one of her muscles tightening as she stood, surounded by headstones. Alone. With a stranger. She snarled involentarally.

Adian watched as the female form before him tensed to an impenetrable mass. "Ah, mademoiselle, s'il te plaît, calm down. Se détendre! My name is Adian Savage" He let his words curl on the end, and put a slight bow to it. Mentally, he was laughing, this was his tatic in a fight, let them drop their guard, and then go for the killing attack. It did not seem that any time soon, she would relax, and he could almost see her singing for a fight. "Now, dearest," He mocked, "I gave you the pleasure of my name, it is only pleasant to do the same."

"Elena." she growled between clenched teeth, "Elena Gilbert." charming. But not near him. If she didn't have him soon, should would die. She rubbed the ring he gave her but didn't take her eyes off Adian. He was making her think too much. A light wind passed, making the moonlit graveyard seem more erie. Agian, she noticed the full moon, thinking of the car crash. She bit her lip again, but soon resumed her defensive position.
"What brings you to the graveyard?" she hissed, vainly trying to start a conversation, but she still didn't trust him. Her pale fists still clenched, her upper lip curled.

"To pay my respects to the dead, of course, just as everyone else comes to a grave yard, non?" Adian took a step towards her. What was he doing? His mind screamed at him to back off. Did he really want to fight? Yes. But why? No, he would not question why, he just had an urge to fight. Perhaps if he provoked her enough... she'd attack him, and then he would have to defend himself.

Elena tried to take a step closer to him too, but cursed her mindlesness. She snarled again and closed her icey, pale fists again. Her expressionless eyes eyed him with dark suspision. She stopped breathing. 'Explode.' she commanded the gravestone behind him, hoping he wouldn't notice. The gravestone did as it was told and exploded. Elena gasped in shock. She didn't relize how close she was to it. A large chunk flew at her, she ducked just in time, but another chunk came at her, hitting her square in the forehead. Elena fell back, hitting the back of her head on her parents' headstone. She felt her consiousness leaving her, then she saw it. It was him. His midnight eyes staring at her before she finally closed her eyes.

Adian easily read the younger Vampires intent. Perhaps he would give her some tips on hiding the thoughts behind her eyes. Her face was like an open book to him. Too long he lived, and in those endless years, he had gained the ability to read people, and Vampire's alike. For the most part, Adian dodged the onslaught of flying debris. Some scratched his arms and back, but the worst hit Elana. "Silly girl" Adian muttered watching her fall. "Now what do I do with you?" Adian asked, standing over her.

Elena was sad to be consious again. She felt alive when she was unconsious. It was fun. But no, someone awakened her. "Wha-? When-? How did I-? Who are-?" she bit her lip, then it came back to her. "Hey!" she hissed, baring her teeth again, "Don't get to close to me!" she tried to convince herself that was the reason she was mad.

Adian sighed, putting a hand on her shoulder and pushing her back to the dirt. "You mah not be human, mon cher, but you do have your limits. Do not sit up just yet." Adian said, ignoring her hissed protest. "Are you seeing double, are you dizzy at all?"

"I'm fine." Elena hissed, though she was dizzy. She tried toget up, but he was stronger than her, holding her to the ground. The cool pale of his hand felt familier, but Elena didn't care. She growled in fury. "Let me go!" she roared, her blonde hair flying as she hook her head. She was starting to get thirsty. 'Let go!' she commanded him fiercly, wondering if he would obey.

Adian sighed, rolling his eyes in emphasis. "Silly girl, you just sort of smashed your head in, you are in no condition to move right now. I please ask you, to answer my question. Are you feeling dizzy? Immortal though we many be, we still are able to suffer from common place malady." As Adian spoke, he kept his hand firmly on her shoulder, in case she should move again.
Then he felt the compulsion on him to let go. It was strong, very strong, Adian was almost surprised, but he fought the urge and calmed his body that fought to lift his hand. "Now, mon cher, should you do that again, I will not be so kind. And I do advise you to stop tossing your ahead around in such a manor."

Elena shook her blonde hair feircly. "Let go of me!" she growled, "I'm fine!" she snapped at him, barly unable to reach his neck. So she tried reaching up with her hands to grab his throat, but was fairly unsuccesful.
After about half an hour of this, she gave up and crossed her arms, finally giving in. "If listen to yo will you let me go?" she snarled, her voice was cold and her eyes narrowed to slits. Hatred shone in them as she watched, waiting for his reply. Seeing him close up for the first time was...stunning. She was more handsome than he had though, but she didn't really pay any attention before. He still poisened her mind, but Elena didn't see any harm in thinking someone else was handsome. No one could compare to him.
