Midnight black eyes stared down at the young girl. A gasp of shock and longing escaped her throat. It was him. She reached forward, wanting to feel him, to feel the tight grasp of his hand on her's again. But as she reached up, he was pulled back by a force. A stab a pain peirced her heart. Someone was attacking him! Someone that needed to be stopped. She grabbed the person's throat, the shocked face turned to face her and a choked cry escaped her throat. Steffan!

Elena sat strait up in her bed, gasping in pain as her forehead hit the ceiling. Growling, she slowly got up and rubbed sleep out of her midnight black eyes. Why did this terrifying dream always enter her unconcious mind? She hissed and punched the wall in anger. She wanted him back. She wanted to feel him again. She faught back the urge to cry. Why was everyone close to her leaving? She had already lost Bonnie, and him, and Meridith. Who else was there to loose? She even lost herself once, she died trying to save him and his brother.
